Dr. Ted Wagner, D.M.D.
Dr. Ted Wagner, was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University he attended The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in Kentucky. In addition to his training in dental school Dr. Wagner has continued his training in cosmetic dentistry including anterior esthetics, veneers, and bonding tooth colored restorations from the Las Vegas Institute. He has returned to Las Vegas for courses in endodontics and soft tissue laser training. Several years ago, his interest in dental implants led him to several courses in implantology and bone grafting. This has become on of his most satisfying areas of dentistry. In 2005 he became aware of a course on TMD and full mouth reconstruction from Jim Beck in Chicago. This course gave him a greater understanding of occlusion and treatments available for TMD.
At home, he and his wife Leslie, have four wonderful children. Riding bikes with his boys, coaching his daughters soccer team (The Orange Pineapples), and hanging out with his family take up most of his free time. After trying triathlons for a few years, he has focused the last year on bike racing. Races included the Twilight Criterium, Idaho State Road Race Championship, Treasure Valley Stage race, Porcupine Hillclimb, and the Bogus Basin Hill Climb. He hasn't made it to the podium yet but is already training for next year. Other than that, an occasional game of soccer or tennis and trips to Bogus Basin whenever possible.
