Of all the issues facing the orthodontic industry, the one that concerns me the most is that a majority of practices rush through between 50 to 80 patients per day; making it difficult for the the doctor to devote adequate time with each patient. In fact, most orthodontic treatments are performed by dental assistants, not the doctor. In my opinion, this is why the average orthodontic patient requires 27 months of treatment. In my office, I see fewer patients so that I may personally monitor each individual. I generally finish two cases in this amount of time, therefore I can charge much less than the going rate for braces in Boise. Nobody should have to wear braces longer than what is necessary, nor should they have to pay more. Please let me reply to this blog if you have any questions or comments. Also, I'm interested to hear any experiences, good or bad, related to orthodontics care you or your family have received here in Boise. Thank you, Chad
